Willow, shaking Koty right out of her hair.

The team of Randy Slabach and Bruce Geiger have been working together for the past 10 years, raising, showing and now breeding Komondors. Besides Komondors, they also raise several other breeds including Bruce's Bouvier Des Flandres, Koty.

This site's name, Komondorok.com, is derived from the Hungarian plural form of Komondor, where the breed historically began. Looking at Jake's lineage papers clearly shows his connection to the Komondor's connection to their origin.

"Gybok" combines Geiger + Slabach + their plans to multiply their Komondors (i.e. the Hungarian plural form mentioned above). Gybok's breeding plans became reality when Willow gave birth to Ezter in November of last year. Because this was Willow's first litter, she had a cesarean section. Ezter was raised with much help and coaching from Randy and Bruce.

Jake, though not a show dog, has sired a litter very recently. Randy received Krystal as a Christmas gift in 1999 and she is already showing successfully, receiving Best in Breed.

Krystal was much smaller as a Christmas gift.

Ezter, Willow's only
puppy, was definitely
worth the wait.
